A lot of the reviews I've seen for this professor mention how she's hard with grading and you have to study a lot. This is COLLEGE, not HIGH SCHOOL. You are expected to do the classwork and study if you want to pass the class, much like other college courses. Most of the students in the classes I've taken with Professor Schillinger (this is my second time having her now) expect that they can get by without studying, participating and also texting on their phones in class (very rude). Clearly these students aren't taking the class because it isn't part of their Major and expect because it is Art that the class will be easy. If you know how to study because you put the time in and have taken college courses before, then you will be able to ace this class. If you need help she's very willing and often times she emailed me back immediately. | |
i would not recommend this professor to any one. she is very hard and makes the class very hard. be prepared to memorize over 100 artwork and writing in details about them for her test. |
